Commitment to Safety
All Steel Builders has held the Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the Alberta Safety Construction Association since 2010, and are newly certified through HSE in Nova Scotia. We hold safety as our number one priority for our work teams and job sites. It is of the utmost importance to get our employees home to their families at the end of each shift.
Each employee begins with mandatory Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020), followed by a company orientation before starting onsite. From there we provide job specific training; for example, Fall Protection, 1st Aid, EWP training, and Forklift training.
Everyone is expected to participate in daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections where individual thoughts, questions and concerns are encouraged for discussion.
